Build a role-based NDIS learning pathway
Start with the work your team performs rather than assigning every course to every worker. A new support worker, a complaints manager and an administrator handle different information and make different decisions. Identify the knowledge each role needs, the approved procedures they should follow and the situations in which they need to ask for help.

Connect sector expectations with your own induction
The NDIS Code of Conduct describes expectations about rights, privacy, safe and competent support, integrity and acting on concerns. It applies across registered and unregistered NDIS providers and workers. Read the official NDIS Code of Conduct for the requirements themselves.
Your provider induction adds the operational detail: who staff contact, where documents are stored, how concerns are escalated and which systems are approved. A general course cannot explain every provider’s arrangements. Custom training should connect broad ideas with your approved policy and the responsibilities of the learner.
Choose a practical annual access plan
Sole traders and companies with up to 10 staff pay $500 per year. Companies with more than 10 staff pay $999 per year, with unlimited staff within that company. These are AUD prices excluding GST for standard-library access. Custom course design and policy conversion are quoted separately. Use the training savings calculator with your actual team size, course needs and alternative costs. A membership is not automatically the cheapest choice for a single learner taking only a small number of courses. Compare expected use as well as the convenience of having learning together.
Keep learning records and practical support connected
Course progress and eligible completion certificates can help record online learning. They do not establish every practical skill or replace qualifications and role-specific authorisation. Plan how a supervisor will help a worker apply the content and how any specialised training will be arranged.

Compare the available topics, decide where your internal procedure is needed and note any practical assessment that sits outside online learning. NDIS staff training questions
Does completing a course guarantee NDIS compliance?
No. Online learning supports knowledge. Your provider still needs appropriate policies, supervision, competency checks and records for the work it delivers.
Can a sole trader use the standard library?
Yes. The $500 annual plan covers sole traders and companies with up to 10 staff. Confirm relevant topics and current course availability before purchasing.
Can you include our own procedures?
Yes, as a separately agreed custom project. We can assist with converting approved policies into lessons, scenarios and knowledge checks for your team.
